DieselDuniya (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the DieselDuniya mobile application and website (dieselduniya.com). We provide technical data, price lists, and resources for diesel mechanics, CRDI technicians, workshop owners, transporters, and fleet owners across India.

2.1 Information you provide

• Full name
• Mobile phone number (used for OTP login)
• Email address (optional)
• WhatsApp number (optional, only if you opt in to WhatsApp notifications)
• Payment information (processed securely by Google Play — we do not store card details)

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Firebase Cloud Messaging token (for push notifications)
• Parts and content viewed within the app (for improving recommendations)
• Search terms entered in the app (anonymized analytics)
• In-app purchase and subscription status (via Google Play)

2.3 Information from third parties

• Google Play — subscription and purchase status
• Meta (Facebook) — advertising attribution only (if you came via a Meta ad)
• Firebase — push notification delivery status

• To verify your identity via OTP and provide access to the app
• To process and manage your subscription via Google Play
• To send push notifications about content updates, subscription reminders, and offers (you can disable these in device settings)

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these situations:

• Google Play Billing — to process subscription payments
• Firebase (Google) — to deliver push notifications
• Meta Platforms — advertising attribution and campaign measurement only
• Meta WhatsApp — to deliver WhatsApp messages if you opted in
• Legal requirements — if required by Indian law or court order

Our app uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure advertising campaign performance. This SDK may collect:

• App install and activation events
• In-app purchase and subscription events
• Device identifiers (Android Advertising ID) used for ad attribution only

We use this data solely to understand which advertising campaigns bring users to DieselDuniya. We do not use this for personalized advertising targeting of our users.

You can limit ad tracking through your Android device settings under Google → Ads → “Opt out of Ads Personalization”.

If you opt in to WhatsApp notifications, we will send you messages via Meta WhatsApp Cloud API. These messages include:

• Subscription renewal reminders
• Payment confirmations
• App update notifications
• Promotional announcements

You can opt out at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any WhatsApp message
• Turning off WhatsApp notifications in the DieselDuniya app settings

• Account data is retained while your account is active
• If you delete your account, personal data is deleted within 30 days
• Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law
• Analytics data is anonymized after 12 months

We protect your data using:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• Secure password hashing for authentication
• Access controls limiting who can view user data
• Regular security reviews

DieselDuniya is intended for professional use by adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us immediately.
